HPL Motors Case Study
HPL motors is a family-run business established in 1992. From humble beginnings on a 16- car forecourt, HPL is now the leading used car supermarket in the North West and in the Winner of the ‘motor Trader Industry Awards’ in 2018 and 2019.
HPL were expanding their business, adding a new site in Preston. The team at HPL wanted a way to stand out from the crowd at this new site and to attract customers passing by on the main road near the site. This new forecourt in Preston offered the perfect opportunity to capture customers from the busy road next to the site.
HPL spoke to our team about ways to use roadside LED digital signage to gain customers, increase brand awareness and promote stock. They also wanted the opportunity to quickly change the artwork and to have full control over the display.
Our team of AV experts met the team at HPL to discuss the problems they were having and to find the perfect solution to their issues.
We believed that our roadside outdoor LED displays would be the perfect solution for what they needed.
We provided a full turnkey solution for the client from assistance with the planning application, design and manufacture of the galvanised steel framework, manufacture and installation of two outdoor LED displays through to display content management via our very own CMS.
Our team managed the planning application for the client, created the design for the structure, implemented the groundworks, installed the power and the framework, alongside the manufacture and installation of the LED display itself.
We installed two 4m x 3m outdoor LED displays, along with the galvanised steel framework, for HPL. We also provided them with our own Content Management System so that they have full control of the content 24/7 from any remote location. AlphaCMS allows the team at HPL to create content, instantly update what is displayed on the screens, and even schedule adverts to target specific audiences at certain times of the day.
HPL now have two 4m x 3m bespoke roadside LED displays, along with full remote control of the content via the CMS at their new car supermarket site in Preston.
They have seen an increase in footfall and will create brand awareness for the business due to the high-traffic area in which it is located.
They are enjoying having the flexibility to update their content at the click of a button, meaning they can respond to audiences, times and new stock.
Our new car showroom in Preston is situated right next to a main road off a junction. We thought this was a prime opportunity to advertise to this passing traffic with two big outdoor LED screens, which we have used to publicise our opening, offers and more.
